Steak Egg and Cheese Please-Jordan finds out what its like to eat steak for breakfast!

I have never been much of a meat eater, but I definitely dont consider myself a vegetarian. So its no surprise that I have never entertained the thought of having steak for breakfast. I have friends and family members who talk about steak and eggs for breakfast, but it has never sparked an interest for me.

This week was my very last week of the SUBWAY "Fresh Start Breakfast" taste test. I have tasted so many of the awesome breakfast sandwiches, but had been putting off the steak egg and cheese. This was the week, and I finally decided to taste the popular breakfast phenomenon.

I started with the flatbread, steak, monterey cheddar, and added some flavor with lots of parmaesan, and added the baja sauce on the side. (Im a dipper kind of girl).
When I sat down and took my first bite, I was actually stunned!

My flatbread was freshly toasted, and my egg was fluffy and light. The steak, which I have never been a fan of was amazingly good! It was thinly sliced, juicy and not greasy. The steak had just the right amount of salt, and the cheese was hot and melted into the steak. The parmesan that I added didn't over power the monterey cheddar, it actually added to the cheese flavor that I love.

This was the best, and my absolute favorite breakfast that I had tasted! Its funny, this was the menu item that I had been prolonging, and it ended up being my favorite! You definitely don't need to be a meat lover to love this breakfast. If you do love meat, then there is no doubt that you'll be craving this sandwich every morning. It may even motivate you to get out of bed with out hitting the snooze alarm three times!
